eTag electronic bag tag integrates seamlessly with the current airport and airline infrastructures. eTag is 100% backwards compatible with the paper bag tag, no airport investment is necessary to use eTag. The eTag back office system connects to multiple DCS and provides the IATA required validation service.
The system features a proximity alarm which is ideal when travelling on busses or trains where cases are often placed in hallways or luggage racks. Whenever your case is out of reach, our smart phone will warn you. You will also receive notification when your case reconnects to your device, for example when the case is on the collection belt.
Despite their high level of technology, eTag is extremely easy to use thanks to a 100% user oriented development process. This includes setting up for first use.
In addition to the eTag we provide the full back office solution and second line technical support for our customers. We guarantee industry standards of up time, backed up by an SLA.
We have been able to work with some world class companies, including airlines, who have helped us to understand and define the standards required for this product. eTag has been developed to meet all the mandatory standards such as CE, FCC, FAA and IATA. We ensure that all components of the electronic bag tag are UL certified, the eTag and the production line will also be UL certified.
